Memes take over internet as England crush India's Final Dreams
ADELAIDE: England's openers Jos Buttler and Alex Hales stunned Indian bowlers by chasing down 169 runs in 16 overs to force the men in blue out of T20 World Cup 2022.
Set to chase 169 runs after Hardik Pandya's power show in the first innings, England's skipper alongside his opening partner Hales smacked Indian bowlers all around the park.
Buttler (80*) and Hales (86*) led England to a solid win that crushed India's dreams to qualify for the final of the mega T20 event.

India haven't qualified for the final of T20 World Cup since their last appearance in knock-out game in 2014. Sri Lanka beat India in that match to win their maiden T20 World Cup title.
The men in blue won the inaugural edition of the mega event back in 2009.
England will now meet Pakistan in the final of T20 World Cup 2022 on November 13 at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The two teams will lock horns in a World Cup final after 29 years.
The two teams last met in ICC World Cup final in 1992. Pakistan beat the English team to win their maiden World Cup trophy under the leadership of Imran Khan.
