Pleasing news for Islamabad United as Paul Stirling returns to PSL

Ireland's aggressive opener Paul Stirling has returned to represent Islamabad United in the ongoing seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

According to Islamabad United's spokesperson, Paul Sterling will be available for selection in the second eliminator against Lahore Qalandars tonight at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

Stirling had left PSL in the Karachi-leg of the tournament due to national duty. The destructive opener has made his comeback after playing five matches in the World T20 Qualifier and three matches in the Oman Quadrangular series.

Stirling was exceptional in the Karachi-leg of the tournament, scoring 187 runs for Islamabad United.

Meanwhile, Alex Hales had also returned to the United squad after pulling out due to personal reasons. Hales played a crucial role in United's Eliminator 1 victory over Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

With the arrival of Paul Stirling, Islamabad United will be a much stronger side, and Lahore Qalandars' bowlers will need a plan against Hales and Stirling.
